
The DFM General Index added 0.42% to reach 1,554.11 points Tuesday. EFG Hermes said earlier today "The index is currently re-testing its support zone 1540 - 1530 as expected, which is another better prices opportunity before a confident rebound occurs." Investment bank Shuaa Capital gained the mots, ending up 4.43% to reach Dhs0.637. Emaar Properties (0.30% higher at Dhs3.30) and Arabtec Construction (gaining 1.82% at Dhs2.80) also pushed the gauge into green territory. Islamic financial institution Ajmanbank dived five percent to close at Dhs0.807. Some 63m shares were traded, valued at Dhs101.4m.
